Winnie Kullman Head Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Winnie Kullman Head, age 85 of Ringgold, GA, was born in Morgan City, Louisiana, August 1, 1935 and passed from this life to her Eternal Destiny on February 11, 2021. She graduated from Morgan City High School in 1953 and married James Edward Head of Jena, Louisiana in 1956. She attended business school and worked as secretary for many years. Mrs. Head went back to college and got a Bachelor of Science and Master’s Degree in Education and taught at Maitland Elementary School, in Morgan City for many years. She was a devoted Christian and was very active in her church, serving at many different levels of ministry, including State Youth Director, State Christian Education Director, Co-Youth Camp Director, Pastor, Sunday School Teacher, Bible Study Director. Mrs. Head was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, James Head, her father and mother, Otto and Sena Kullman, her brothers, Otto Kullman Jr., George Kullman, Paul Kullman, Charlie Kullman, her son, Steven Head, and her grandson Daniel Head. She is survived by her brother James Kullman Sr. of Morgan City, LA, her sister, Audrey King of Ponchatoula, LA, her son, Kary Head and his wife Lisa of Ringgold, GA, her daughter in law, Cindy Head of Brandon, MS. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and one step great grandchild. Mrs. Head will be laid to rest with her husband at 1:30pm Thursday March 4, in the Chattanooga National Cemetery, Chattanooga, Tennessee, Brother Doug Stephenson officiating.
