William L. Wilson Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

William Leroy Wilson, 81, of Rossville, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 28, 2022. He was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga and North Georgia area and a member of Mtn. Creek Church of Christ. William graduated from the Tennessee School for the Deaf in 1962 and was a member of the Deaf Seniors of Chattanooga. William was an avid Tennessee Volunteers fan and enjoyed camping and old cars. His most cherished time was spent with his family. William is preceded in death by his wife, Vickie Joan Wilson; daughter, Tammy Nelson; parents, Woodrow and Margaret Edgmon Wilson; siblings, Boyd Wilson, Gary Wilson, Royce “Ross” Wilson. He is survived by his children, Sherry Harvey, Jennifer Frase, Kendra (Mike) McLemore, Jonathan (Candace) Wilson; sisters, Barbara (Charlie) Simerley, Joyce Murray, as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at Mountain Creek Church of Christ, 985 Runyan Drive Chattanooga, Tennessee 37405 with Minister Gary Chadwick officiating.
