Philip Anthony Nance Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Philip Anthony Nance, age 65, of Ringgold, passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2022. He was a lifelong resident of the Keith Community and was a member of Woodland Park Baptist. Philip was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and camping. He recently retired, on Jan 3, 2022, from Hi-Tech Controls. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his mother, Relma Jeneece “Hannah” Nance; grandparents, Willie and Sally Hannah and Lloyd F. and Bessie “Silvey” Nance. Philip is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Tammy “Murray McCurry” Nance; sons and daughters-in-law, Michael (Rebekah) Nance, Brad (Becky) Nance, Steven (Jamie) Nance; father, Garland Nance; siblings, Mark Nance, Cindy (Tom Grant) Johnson; grandchildren, Hayden, Jacob, Eva, Caleb, Jessalyn Nance, Bre Parks, Eli Nance, brothers and sisters-in-law, Shayne (Ann) Murray, Keith (Bonnie) Murray; special friends, Eddie and Shelley Nester, Bill and Ann Chambers, Doug Crowther; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, August 6, 2022, in the chapel with Mike Peeples officiating. Burial will follow in Keith Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 4:00 PM, prior to the service, on Saturday at the funeral home. Arrangements by Wilson Funeral Home-Wallis Stewart Chapel, Ringgold.
