Nevelon Bernice Holcomb Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Nevelon Bernice Moore Holcomb, 72, of Ringgold, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, January 15, 2021. She was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee to the late, Oscar Amanuel & Nevelon Nezelene Dixson Moore, Jr. and had lived in the Chattanooga & North Georgia areas for most of her life. She was of the Christian faith and was a graduate of Hixson High School, Class of 1966. She was all about taking care of her family & friends and was great at being a personal chauffer for all of her family’s needs at any given time. She loved spending time quilting and was always busy taking care of her grand-dogs and others. She had a true desire to bake and at times her desire wasn’t enough, but it sure made for a good laugh. Face. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and sister that will be truly missed by all who knew her. She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Gabriel Baker. Survivors include her children & spouses, Valerie & Sam Vickery, Chuck & Pamela Summers, Tonya & Brent Baker and Amanda & Adam Cox; sister & brother-in-law, Nancy (Alan) Schroader; brothers & sisters-in-law, Bobby (Sonia) Moore, Jackie (Deborah) Moore, Larry (Onvil) Moore, Ronnie (Trina) Moore and Tracy (Connie) Moore; 11 grandchildren, Kailyn (Robert) Holcomb, Ashton (Nick) Summers, Trey (Caitlyn) Vickery, Logan Summers, Ryan Vickery, Taegan Baker, Ellie Cox, Camerik Baker, Emerson Adams, Rose Cox and Raleigh Adams; 2 great grandchildren, Chasten Hamilton and Asher Holcomb and numerous extended family & friends. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, January 28, 2021 in the Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 4 – 9 p.m. on Wednesday and prior to leaving for the service on Thursday.
