Lois Mildred Kline Cross Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Lois Mildred Cross, 91, of Ringgold, Georgia went home to be with her Lord and Savior Friday June 3, 2022. A native of Camden, New Jersey, she has lived in Ringgold for the past twenty years and was formerly of Naples, Florida, and Wilmington, Delaware. She was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church, PCA, in East Brainerd. She worked for Sears and retired after 21 years. She drove school buses for the local Christian School. She was always an active member of the churches she attended. She sang in the choirs, played the violin and sang duets with her husband. She taught Sunday school and held women's bible studies in the home. She often would invite visiting groups for dinner like the Covenant College baseball team. She is preceded in death by her parents, Godfrey and Florence Kline, Husband Ralph Cross, Brother Robert Kline, Sister Ruth Croul, Sister Jean Kline, and one grandson. She is survived by her five children, Joyce (Henry) Huber of Wilmington, Delaware, Ralph (Sandy) Cross Jr. of Ringgold, Georgia, Susan Cross of Ringgold, Georgia, David Cross of Orlando, Florida, and Earl (Selah) Cross of Lookout Mountain. Georgia; brother-in-law, Rev. David Cross of Carlisle, Pennsylvania; sister-in-law, Sylvia Graves of Nashville, Tennessee; ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, June 9, 2022, in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Anderson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5-8 P.M. Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home Wallis-Stewart Chapel Ringgold, Georgia.
