Karen Lee Massey Brown Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Karen Lee Massey Brown, 48, of Ft. Oglethorpe, Georgia went home to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, April 6, 2022 while surrounded by her family. A lifelong resident of the Ft. Oglethorpe area, she was a member of Parkway Baptist and was an employee of Blue Cross Blue Shield where she worked for 10 years. Karen was a graduate of Lakeview Ft. Oglethorpe High School Class of 1991 and a sister of Alpha Xi Delta. She is preceded in death by her mother, Deloris Ann Slatton Massey; paternal grandparents, George and Pauline Massey; and maternal grandparents, W.B. and Minnie Slatton. Karen is survived by her daughter, Makayla Brown of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA.; father, Raymond Massey of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA.; aunt, Joyce Fairchild of Ringgold, GA.; God sister, Rhonda (Garry) Thurman of Chattanooga, TN.; special friends, Dean and Lisa Gentry (Tyler Phillips); several cousins and a host of friends. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, April 10, 2022 in the funeral home chapel with Dr. David Sampson officiating. Interment will follow at Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 4-8 P.M. Saturday and 12:00 P.M. until funeral time Sunday at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home Wallis-Stewart Chapel 443 Boynton Dr. Ringgold, Georgia.
