Jeanette Kinsey Wall Stokes

December 3, 1939 - May 2, 2022

Jeanette Kinsey Wall Stokes, 82, of Chickamauga, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, May 2, 2022. She was born in Rossville, Georgia to the late, Willie & Susie Kinsey and was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia area. She was a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church, where she also served as a Sunday School Teacher for many years and truly loved spending time with her church family & friends. She was previously employed Rossville Middle School, where she worked in Maintenance and then retired from Goodwill Industries after more than 25 years of service. She will always be remembered as a “kind soul”, that everyone was drawn too and she took pride in caring for her family. She was a loving and devoted sister, mother, grandmother and friend that will be truly missed by all who knew her. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Junior Lee Stokes; second husband, Jack Wall, Jr. and brother, Jessie “Pete” Kinsey. Survivors include her son & daughter-in-law, Chris & Amanda Stokes; brother, Paul Kinsey; sister, Martha Davis; granddaughter, Pyper Stokes; nieces, Shannon Kinsey, Christina Kinsey and Jennifer Davis; nephews, Raymond Kinsey and John Paul Kinsey and numerous extended family & friends. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, May 5, 2022 in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel. Burial will follow in the Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday and from 1 p.m. until the time of service on Friday at the funeral home. Condolences may be left at www.wilsonfuneralhome.com.
