Daisy Marie Jordan Gamble Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Daisy Marie Jordan Gamble, 89, of Rising Fawn, Georgia went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, March 7, 2022. She was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee on November 28, 1932 to the late, William “Bud” & Nancy Pack Jordan and had lived in the Chattanooga and North Georgia areas for most of her life. She was of the Baptist faith and was employed with the Dade County School System as a Cafeteria Manager for more than 11 years. Daisy enjoyed spending time cooking and baking for her family & friends, traveling anywhere and everywhere and of course playing cards every Sunday with her family. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother that will be truly missed by all who knew her. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Walter Loyd Gamble; brothers, Cecil Jordan and Grady Jordan and sister, Estella Trotter. Survivors include her children & spouses, Cindy & Danny Stancil, Walter Gamble and Wendy & Gary Roach; 5 grandchildren, Daniel & Stephanie Stancil, Tanner Stancil, Aaron Gamble, Jessica Gamble and Rebekah Gamble; 1 great grandchild, Riley Caldwell; nieces, Debbie Youngblood and Margie Kay; and numerous extended family & friends. Also the family would like to extend a very special Thank You to Teddy Hughes for his care and compassion for Mrs. Gamble during this time. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, March 11, 2022 in the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Rev. Eric Youngblood officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
