Charles A. "Charlie" Chambers Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Charles A. “Charlie” Chambers, age 84 of Rossville, passed away May 5, 2021. He was local legend guitarist who played with many different bands and numerous studio recordings. He was the former owner of Chambers Music Center and Rossville Music and Golf. He was a member of the Musicians Union and had a passion for both music and golf. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Chambers; parents, Robert and Goldie Chambers; brothers, Robert and Richard; and sisters, Margaret and Shirley. Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Geri, Andrea, Charles and Robert; brother Joe; sisters, Rosie and Barbara; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; as well as numerous extended family and friends. The family will receive friends 11am until 7pm Saturday and 11am until 2pm Sunday at Wilson Funeral Home Fort Oglethorpe Chapel. The Funeral Service will be 2pm Sunday in the Chapel, Bro. Wesley Crider and Rev. Keith Bobo officiating. Interment will be private.
