Bobby Lee Bohannon Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Bobby Lee Bohannon age 87, of Chickamauga, Georgia went home to be with The Lord on Wednesday – May 26, 2021. He was born in Stevenson, Alabama to the late Roe & Amanda Ruby Ashley Bohannon. He resided most of his life in McLemore Cove where he enjoyed hunting, fishing, raising goats and chickens. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of Way of The Cross Baptist Church. He had worked in foundries and logging most of his life. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Patsy Hollingsworth Bohannon, sister: Betty Gilreath, brothers: Glen, Jimmy, Tommy, Charles and Bill Bohannon. He is survived by his children: Robert “Gene” Bohannon of Chickamauga, GA, Lisa (John) Lyons of Fort Oglethorpe, GA, Karen (Melvin) Edwards of Chickamauga, GA, five grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Friday from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and after 11:00 am prior to the service on Saturday. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm – Saturday – May 29, 2021 in the funeral home chapel with Reverend: James Helton officiating. Burial will follow at Coulter Cemetery.
