Billie Jean Hicks Kincer Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Billie Jean Hicks Kincer, of Rossville, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, June 14, 2022. She was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee on February 9, 1942 to the late, Fred and Martha Davis Hicks and was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga & North Georgia areas. She was a member of Midway Baptist Church in Ringgold, where she took tremendous pride in making sure her church looked presentable to everyone that came thru the doors, cleaning, landscaping and anything else that needed her attention. She was previously employed with Lookout Mountain Community Services for more than 18 years and loved spending time outdoors, gardening and planting flowers. She was a loving and devoted sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother that will be truly missed by all who knew her. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Freddie Hicks; sister, Virginia Jo Cavin; and sons, Houston Bradley and Steven Kincer. Survivors include her loving husband of more than 40 years, Leonard Kincer, Jr.; daughter & son-in-law, Janice & Michael Nowatny; son & daughter-in-law, Paul & Lana Bradley; step-son, Grady Kincer; brother, Kenneth Hicks; sister, Charlene Masters; 3 grandchildren, Heather White, Natalie Fleming and Jillian Nicholson; several great grandchildren and numerous extended family & friends. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Friday, June 17, 2022 in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel with Rev. Jackie Swanson officiating. Burial will follow in the Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
