Allene F Hickman Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Allene Hickman, age 79, passed away on Friday, June 17, 2022. She was a member of Naomi Baptist Church and loved her grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening and loved to sew for everyone. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev Alonzo and Dora Pratt; brother, Charles Pratt and sister, Margaret Rosenbalm. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 59 years, C.W. Hickman; daughters, Valerie Rowlls (Duran) and Kimberly Harrison; sisters, Helen Roop, Alberta Gosnell, Naomi Garrett and Charlene Eckerly; brother, Horace Pratt; grandchildren, Erika Derryberry, Sara Cross, Daley Zuker and Jett Harrison; great-grandchildren, Anniston Derryberry, Bailey Derryberry, Noah Cross and Kora Cross; very special friend, Nita Thornton; several nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 19, 2022 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at the LaFayette Chapel of Wilson Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Garland Hullender and Rev. Rodney Blaylock officiating. Burial will be 4pm Monday, June 20, 2022 at Naomi Cemetery.
