Roy Gene Stinnett

February 24, 1957 – November 11, 2021

Roy Gene Stinnett, 64, of Cleveland, Tennessee passed away Thursday, November 11, 2021. A resident of the Cleveland area for most of his life, he was an employee of the City of Cleveland Public Works for over 20 years and was of the Baptist faith. He is preceded in death by his father, Wayne Charlie Stinnett; mother and step father, Ann Margaret and Billy Edward Truelove; and brother, Billy Lebron Truelove. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Carmell Hooper Stinnett of Cleveland, TN.; two children, Billy Ray (Merianne) Stinnett of Cabot, Arkansas, and Karyn Nicole Stinnett (Jonathan) Pickelsimer of Cleveland, sister, Donna Lisa Chapman of Chattanooga, Tn.; theee brothers, Gary Stinnett of Cleveland, Tn., Mike Truelove of Cleveland, Tn and Steve Truelove of Cleveland, Tn.; five grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held 2;00 P.M. Monday, November 15, 2021 at Woodstation Cemetery in Ringgold, Georgia. The family will receive friends 2-8 P.M. Sunday and 9 A.M. – 1:30 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home Wallis-Stewart Chapel 443 Boynton Drive Ringgold, Georgia

    We are SO very sorry about this news of the sudden death of this kind, sweet man!! Nothing can ever prepare us for losing the ones we love! Please know that, we’ll have you, one and all, in our thoughts and prayers for God’s healing hand of peace and comfort on you, as you make it through the visitation and service and then as you try to live without him,
