Margaret Ann Davis Evans

February 19, 1951 ~ November 7, 2021

Margaret Ann Davis Evans, 70 of Chickamauga, peacefully passed away in her sleep on Sunday, November 7, 2021 after courageously battling Progressive Supranuclear Palsy. She lived most of her life in the North Georgia Area and was a member of Oakwood Baptist Church where she loved singing in the choir. Mrs. Evans enjoyed painting folk art, gardening, crocheting, and cooking. Her most cherished time was spent loving people and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, James “Austin” and Lillian Davis. Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Charles “Ron” Evans; children, Shannon (Eric) Herring, Timothy (Trecia) Evans; siblings, Jeff Davis, Theresa Jefferies, Tina Davis, Becky Davis, Daniel Davis; granddaughter, Rayne Herring; aunt, Annie Grace Hale, as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.     To the Davis family, I’m so sorry for your loss, Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to make it today. You guys were always like family to me and Margaret was so kind, As I hadn’t seen her in years I’m sure her loving ways continued to grow and make people feel so comfortable around her. My prayers are with you all.
