Charles Lewis Gray

June 27, 1957 ~ August 27, 2021

Charles Lewis Gray, 64, of Rock Spring, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, August 27, 2021.  He was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga and North Georgia areas and was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church.  He retired from Tuftco Corporation in 2006 after more than 32 years of service in Logistics and enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and spending time with “Taterhead”.  He was a loving and devoted father, grandfather and brother that will be truly missed by all who knew him.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Newt & Eloise Gray, II.

Survivors include his daughter, Saisha Gray;  brothers & sister-in-law, Newton Elgin Gray, III and Wilson Ross & (Brenda) Gray;  sisters and brothers-in-law, Terry Lou & (Richard) Yost and DeLila & (Jerry) Cooprider;  grandson, Easton Avery “Taterhead” Camp;  special friends, “The Liar’s Club at Wanda’s Restaurant;  and numerous extended family & friends.

Visitation and memories will be celebrated from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at the funeral home.  Burial will be private.  Online guest book at www.wilsonfuneralhome.com.  Arrangements by Wilson Funeral Homes – LaFayette Chapel, LaFayette, GA.

    I love you little brother. Wish your life could have been easier especially the last couple months. I’m glad we got to celebrate your last birthday together on June 27, 2021. You were a good brother,,father, and grandfather. I will miss you always. You were gone too soon..I hope you are happy and healthy in Heaven, walking and talking with mom, dad, and Grammy..
