Lebron Farris Hixon, 88, of Rossville, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, August 11, 2021. He was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia area and was of the Baptist faith. He was an Army Veteran having served during the Korean Conflict and retired from Quaker Oats after more than 30 years of service as a Machinist. He was a true family man, who was always putting others needs before his own. He loved playing Golf and could build or fix anything. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, great-great grandfather and a Momma’s boy that will be truly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Farris & Bertha Hixon; daughter, Pamela Hixon and sister, Sue Miller.
Survivors include his loving wife of more than 67 years, Joyce Ballard Hixon; daughters, Cathy Marks and Cyndi Turner; sisters and brothers-in-law, Joyce & (Ken) Varnadoe, Myra Henson, Ora & (James) Citty and Ruth & (Ralph) Braly; 5 grandchildren, Shane Marks, Kelly Donavan, Jordan Price, Bo Price and Chad Price; 12 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family & friends.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Monday, August 16, 2021 in the Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park with Bro. John Johnson officiating.
