Annie “Jean” Imojean Harrison Brandon, 77 of Chickamauga, passed away on Tuesday, July 20, 2021. She was a lifelong resident of Chickamauga and of the Baptist faith. Jean retired from Walker County School System as a cafeteria worker. She was a loving, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister, whom enjoyed gardening, and loved Elvis Presley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Garland “Jabo” Edward Brandon; parents, Oliver and Annie Fricks Harrison; daughter, Donna (Michael) Paradise; siblings, Barbara McBee, Jerry Harrison, Billy Harrison, Blondie Armstrong; father and mother-in-law, Richard and Ora Brandon. Survivors include her children, Melissa “Mitzi” (Michael) Yancey, Anita “AJ” Cooper her caregiver; sisters, Linda (Neill) Frizzell, Lynette “Blackie” (Danny) Carter; grandchildren, Derek Ashworth her caregiver, Chris Paradise, Jessica Paradise, Ashley Hurst, Jennifer Cooper, Sammy Frix, Taylor Yancey; great grandchildren, Jalen, Kalen, and Ayden Rapier, Grayson Hurst, Makenzie, Abby, and Emily Paradise; granddog, Ridley; special brother and sister-in-laws Steve and Shirley Brandon, Lebron and Brenda Brandon, as well as several nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family members. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 22, 2021 in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Steve Brandon. Burial will follow in the Chickamauga City Cemetery.
