Virginia Elizabeth McEntire Wilson, 74, of Ringgold, Georgia passed away Monday, July 12, 2021. A native of Chattanooga, Tennessee, she has lived in the Chattanooga, North Georgia area since 1978 and was formerly of California. She is a former employee of Hosanna House where she worked for 5 years and was of the Baptist faith. She is preceded in death by her husband, William A. Wilson; father, Clarence Eugene McEntire; mother, Bobbie Faye Helton McEntire Wilson; and two brothers, Robert and Clarence McEntire. She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Roland of Ringgold, GA., step-daughters, Betty Sue Wilson of Chattanooga, TN., and Marie Carringer of Chattanooga, TN.; sister, Shana McEntire Gann of Chattanooga, TN.; three brothers, Franklin Wilson of Chattanooga, TN., Steve McEntire of Oklahoma and Tom McEntire of Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Matthew Pedigo, Amber Snyder, Kevin Wilson, Allen Patterson and Laura Patterson; three great grandchildren, Emma Pedigo, J.J. Snyder and “Lily” Snyder; several nieces and nephews. Private Memorial services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home Wallis-Stewart Chapel Ringgold, Georgia.
