Judy Carol Underwood Camp 63, of Chickamauga, Georgia went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 24, 2021. Judy was born in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia and had been a lifelong resident of the North Georgia area. She was a member of Old Bethel Baptist Church in Chickamauga and loved singing for Jesus. She was a graduate of Lakeview High School Class of 1976 and received her Associates Degree from Dalton College. She had worked for Shaw Industries as a Business Analyst for more than 24 years and enjoyed sewing, making crafts and making jewelry. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend that will be truly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her father: Richard Donald Underwood, mother and step-father: Thelma Jane Brown Underwood Beene and James Ed Beene, Sr., and brother: Ricky Underwood. Judy is survived by her loving husband of more than 44 years, Reverend Steve Camp of Chickamauga, GA, sons & daughters-in-law: Casey (Emily) Camp of Atlanta, GA, Scott (Katie) Camp of Lilburn, GA, grandchildren: Lennon, Leo, Rory and Evie Camp, sisters & brothers-in-law: Debbie (Donald) Callahan of Rossville, GA, Gaye (Greg) Autry of Ringgold, GA, step-sister, Lisa Gaye McFarland of Rossville, GA, step-brother: Eddie (Stephanie) Beene of Mt. Juliet, TN, several nieces, nephews and extended family & friends. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4:00 pm-8:00 pm and Wednesday morning after 11:00 am until the service. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm, Wednesday, April 28, 2021 in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel with Reverend George Ashburn officiating. Burial will follow in Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park, Rossville, Georgia.
