Lester Clifford “L.C” Morgan, age 83, born and raised, and lived on Ridgeland Rd. in Rossville, for 83 yrs. L.C. worked since the age of 15 making chili, then at the cone factory and retired from Owens Brockway Plastics. He has fought his battle with cancer with a positive outlook and won his battle, resting in the arms of Jesus. L.C. was preceded in death by his parents, James Almer and Jesse Lee Ellis Morgan, brothers, Charlie, John, Bill, Jim, Frank and Fred Morgan and sister, Francis Kinard. He is survived by his wife, of 61 yrs., Jennie Lou Morgan, sister, Nancy (Edward) Zipp, children, Wesley (Sylvia) Morgan, Karen (Lebron) Daniel, grandchildren, Tiffanie (Mitchel) Morris, James (Emily) Morgan, Samantha (George) Johnson and Elizabeth Morgan, great grandson, Henry Morris and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at Lakewood Memory Gardens, South, with Pastor Oscar Stapp officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday and prior to leaving for the cemetery on Wednesday. The family would like to thank Hospice of Chattanooga for the care he has received and a big thank you to his nurse Patty Ceccotti and the others who have cared for him. It’s not goodbye “Daddy, Pop, Papaw, Poppy”. It’s see ya later.
