William Matthew “Matt” Turner, 41, of Denver, Colorado passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2021. He was a lifelong resident of East Ridge and Chattanooga, Tennessee and had resided in Colorado for the last four years. In high school Matt played baseball and football, later in life, he became a trade welder, enjoyed art, and was an avid Tennessee Volunteer fan. Above all, Matt enjoyed spending time with friends and family, especially his nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, William Edward and Debra Coleman Turner; grandfathers, James Coleman and Hugh Spangler; best friend, Larry Duff. He is survived by his grandmothers, JoAnn Coleman, Marie Spangler; sisters, Tina (Kevin) Roberts, Stephanie (Michelle) Turner; nieces and nephews, Taylor, Payton (Maranda), Austin, Kurtis, Shayla (Eddie); great nieces and nephews, Donaven, Kamora, Paxton, Braxton; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 27, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. with a celebration of life in the parlor beginning at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
