Frances Imogene Moore Watters Smith age 85, of Strawberry Plains, TN passed away Saturday – January 23, 2021. She was born in LaFayette, Georgia to the late Henry and Macalena Williams Moore. She spent most of her life in Walker County, she was a former resident of Dunlap, TN, and had resided in Strawberry Plains for the past five years. She worked various jobs providing for her family, but enjoyed being a homemaker most of all. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and could catch a fish out of a mud hole. She was of the Church of God faith. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her son: Robert Odes Watters, Jr, siblings: Willie Belle Cline, Montene Moore, Wanda Williams, Alton “Bud” Moore and Larry Moore. She is survived by her children: Teresa (Dennis) Yocom of Chattanooga, TN, Patricia Eve (Tom) Horner of Ringgold, GA, Pamela Hope Stoner of Strawberry Plains, TN, Candy (Tony) Hullender of Ringgold, GA, Robert Gary (Brenda) Watters of Ooltewah, TN, brother: Eddie (Joyce) Moore of LaFayette, GA, sixteen grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm – Tuesday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm – Wednesday – January 27, 2021 graveside at Arnold Cemetery in the Catlett community with Minister: Charles Lee officiating.
