Reba Lee Byers Brown, 85 of Ringgold, went home to be with The Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 2, 2020. She was born in Athens, Georgia and has been a lifelong resident of Ringgold. She was a member of Boynton Baptist church and a member of the Joy Sunday School class. Reba also helped with the church card ministry as well as Awana. Previously she was a member of the Shelter Church at East Brainerd and helped with the Awana ministry at Burning Bush Baptist church for many years as well. When not serving others, Reba enjoyed crafting, painting, and sketching. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Eugene Brown; daughters, Darleen Atkins Thuresson, Teresa Overturf; parents, Jack and Josie Brockman Byers; sisters, Thelma (Johnny) Clark, Helen (J.C.) Brown, Jackie (Kenneth) Bell; brother, Jake Byers; brother – in – law, Steve Garren. Survivors include her sons, Ronnie, Allen (Debbie) and Tim (Lynn) Brown; siblings, Faye Garren, Amos P. “Tadpole” (Pat) Byers; grandchildren, Mark, Laura, Robert, Meredith, Joey, Scott; ten great grandchildren, one great great grandchild; son – in – laws, Tom Thuresson, Don Overturf; as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be private.
