Robert “Bobby” Lee Orr Jr., 70, of Atlanta, Georgia, devoted brother, uncle, and treasured friend, passed away Saturday November 14, 2020. A native of Ringgold, Georgia, he has lived in the Atlanta area for the past 45 years. Bobby was born and raised in Ringgold, Georgia where he graduated from Ringgold High School. He attended Dalton Jr. College and then transferred to the University of Georgia and graduated with a Master’s in Pharmacy and was a member of Alpha Gamma Rho. Bobby was a confidant and lived a life of respect, high integrity and trustworthiness. He will always be remembered for his kindness and willingness to help anyone in need. Bobby was a retired pharmacist. Before retiring he worked at the Atlanta VA Health Care System. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert “Bob” Lee Orr Sr., and Gladys Morgan Orr; half-sister, Brenda Borza; and infant sister Debra Kay Orr. He is survived by his brothers, Gary Morgan (Marsha) Orr of Tunnel Hill, GA., and William “Bill” David Orr of Tunnel Hill, GA.; niece, Marla Rhea (Stephen) Birkelbach and their children Rheagan, Reese, and Ryan; nephews, Taylor Morgan (Brandy) Orr and Kristopher Lee Orr and his daughter Blakely and special friends, Bill Smith, Andrea Smith, and Heloise Handley Wilson. Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Thursday, November 19, 2020 in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Anderson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 1-3 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. Mask are required by anyone attending the visitation or the funeral at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Wilson funeral Home Wallis-Stewart Chapel Ringgold, Georgia.
