Nancy Collins Wilson age 70, of Rossville, Georgia went home to be with The Lord Wednesday morning, July 29, 2020. She was born in East Ridge, TN, to the late Paul Joel Collins and Ann Tallent Collins. She was a graduate of East Ridge High School – Class of 1967. She was a former secretary at Lakeview Middle School. She was a member of Parkway Baptist Church in Fort Oglethorpe where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She enjoyed singing for The Lord and had done so for many years as a soloist, with her husband, in trios and quartets, or in the choir. Nancy was inducted as member of the Tri-State Gospel Music Association Hall of Fame in 2014. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Paul Thomas “Tom” Collins. Nancy is survived by her husband of fifty-two years: Luthur Edward “Ed” Wilson of Rossville, GA, their son: Todd Wilson, daughter-in-law: Wendy Wilson, grandchildren: Morgan and Kalen Milstead all of Alpharetta, GA, sisters Patty Tanner and husband: Lenwyde, Lisa Lowery and husband: Jud, sister-in-law: Wanda Collins and her friend: Dale Kyle, nieces and nephews, Crystal and Rob Parrish, Jeffrey Tanner, David and Katie Lowery, and Deborah Lowery, great nieces and nephews, Will and Lauren Parrish and Jayla and Joshua Lowery. The family will have a private graveside service Saturday – August 1, 2020 at Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park – Rossville, Georgia with Pastors: David Sampson and Bill Gardner officiating. Arrangements by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Homes – Fort Oglethorpe, GA. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the church. There will be a celebration of life service at a later date once current circumstances have ended.
