James Donald Hanna, 83, of Chickamauga, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2013 at his home. He was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, but graduated from Robinson High School in Robinson, Illinois in 1948 and then served as a Boy Scout Master for Pack 901 in the '60's. He was a licensed HAM radio operator and was an Examiner with the Chattanooga Radio Club. He had previously worked for Marathon Oil in Robinson, Illinois and then went on to work as Marina Shop Manager at Loret Marina and Lakeshore Marina in Chattanooga for many years. He was also a member of the FISTS International CW Club and the American Legion Post 95. He had lived in the Chickamauga area for the last 20 years and was a member of the Chickamauga Presbyterian Church. He was an Air Force Veteran having served during the Korean Conflict and was a loving and devoted Husband, Father and Grandfather who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
