Caring Assistance The services offered by Wilson Funeral Homes do not end after the funeral. The funeral directors and our Aftercare Coordinator are committed to continue to provide comfort and care to family and friends following the death of someone loved. Grief Counseling Group and individual grief counseling is available for individual families. Jimmy Spurling, our Aftercare Coordinator, is available to meet each family the funeral home serves. Caring for Children in Times of Loss With the family's permission, our Aftercare Coordinator meets with children before, during, and after funeral serices to answer any of their questions. About Jimmy Spurling Jimmy is an ordained minister in the field of Christian counseling. He holds a Doctorate of Ministry Degree in Christian Counseling from Covington Theological Seminary and is a Trained Grief Recovery Specialist through the Grief Recovery Institute. Jimmy has 30 years combined experience in the Fire/Police/EMS field.
